Scholarships for MiAPPA/MAPPA/APPA Development Opportunities
MiAPPA Supports the professional development of the employees of its member institutions. The professional development of personnel in the field of facilities (operations, maintenance, design, construction, etc.) is essential to ensure that the employee can continue to meet the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities available in providing facilities services to their institution. MiAPPA believes this professional development can be achieved through a wide variety of activities, attendance at a MiAPPA conferece, Supervisor Toolkit, MAPPA conference, APPA conference or trainings.
Procedure for Scholarship
MiAPPA is offering scholarships for MiAPPA Member Institutions to attend any of these types of educational offered. Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of 500.00/person.
- To provide adequate time for evaluation, applications should be received at least one month prior to the requested program.
- Applications received later will be considered but may have a lower probability of funding.
Scholarship Reimbursement Process
- Submit receipts after the event to Rence Meredith at meredlaw@gvsu.edu.
- Receipts will be submitted to the MiAPPA Treasurer once reconciled with the awarded scholarship.
